renewables

we install renewable energy solutions

are you concerned by:

  1. fossil fuels running out
  2. your rising energy bills
  3. security of energy supply

did you know?

  1. Solar PV can deliver an annual return of more than 5%
  2. Feed in Tariffs are guaranteed for 25 years
  3. Your installer must be MCS registered

why we don’t sell wind

  1. Wind turbines can generate useful quantities of electrical energy, providing that they’re of the right size and they’re in the right place.
  2. However, we believe that offering to install small wind turbines on or near residential properties lacks integrity, because it’s unlikely that both of these conditions would be met and legitimate savings of money or carbon would be very hard to demonstrate.
  3. In addition, the constant noise generated by these installations can be very distressing if situated too close to homes; we would prefer to build a better future without diminishing the enjoyment of our natural environment in the present.
  4. Bottom line, in a domestic rather than a commercial sense, windy days can be fun – let’s just enjoy them.

renewable energy sources

Are you looking for a company to help you assess the tangible benefits of fitting renewable technologies into your property? And then install the solution that will give you the best return on your investment?

We’re able to help our Customers from start to finish, beginning with a FREE no-obligation Renewable Energy Assessment, after which we’ll do the design work and provide you with a quotation. If you wish to go ahead, then we’ll do the install ouselves using one of our MCS accredited installers.

Whether you want to install modern super-efficient heating systems using ground-source or air-source heat pumps, or generate your own electricity using state-of-the-art solar photovoltaic panels on your roof, you’ll find we’re committed to helping you get the best return on your investment.

There are many incentives available right now as a result of the Government’s commitment to carbon savings. But, to access these savings, you must employ a properly MCS accredited installer like Exenergy.

The legislation is complicated, but don’t worry, we’ll happily explain everything you need to know when we visit your property. If you’re excited by this opportunity or just seriously curious, please fill in the form in the green box above and request your FREE no-obligation Renewable Energy Assessment.

solar pv

Solar photovoltaic (PV) cells convert sunlight into electricity, even on a cloudy day. You will benefit from this electricity in three ways:

  1. you will be paid generously for every unit of electricity made by your panels, whether you use it or not
  2. you will save money by using your own electricity instead of paying for it from your Energy Company
  3. you will be paid again for any surplus electricity that you feed back into the National Grid

It sounds too good to be true, but you can make annual returns on your investment in excess of 5%, and it’s all guaranteed tax free for 25 years.

The reason is simply that the Government has made a legal commitment to reduce the country’s carbon emissions, so we all benefit from your investment.

air source heat pumps

Air-source heat pumps are just like air-conditioning units or fridges, using some clever physics to take heat from where it’s not wanted and move it to somewhere more useful.

Amazingly, modern air-source heat pumps (ASHPs) can deliver four times as much energy as they consume. It sounds impossible, but remember that they’re not making the heat, simply shifting it from one place to another so that you can feel the benefit.

And it doesn’t even have to be warm outside; these clever systems can work at outside air temperatures as low as minus 20 degrees celsius, and have done for many years in countries such as Sweden. They do it because even very cold things have heat in them, and we can get the heat out by making them colder still.

solar thermal

Solar thermal systems use free heat from the sun to warm domestic hot water. They work all year round, providing piping-hot water on sunny summer days and taking the chill off the water in your tank during the colder winter months. So, even in January, your heating system gets a head start, thereby saving you money. Over the whole year, you could typically expect to save between 50% and 70% of the cost of providing your hot water.

If you find yourself using a lot of hot water, for example if you have a young family, then a Solar Thermal installation is almost certainly an attractive option for you.
